I'm Virginie Gribouilli,
a french sculptor exploring living organisms as a cultural archive in transformation. For several years, I have worked with cold porcelain, creating unique pieces that are exhibited internationally. A two-time finalist for the Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize in 2022 and 2023, I won the Susannah Kelly Award in the “Artist of Great Potential” category in 2025, and I am among the artists whose work is exhibited year-round at the Naia Museum in Brittany, France.
My art is a way to engage with ideas, share common feelings, experience wonder, and broaden perspectives.
I propose an exploration of life as a moving archive, revealing how societies continually construct and destroy the mythologies that tell the story of life.
